AluminumNow's Partners & Colleagues have an ongoing research program into resistance involving both model and full scale tests. Our numerical model is constantly tested against new vessels launched, with the vessels actual performance matching calculated speeds and fuel consumption. When comparison is made against similar vessels in service, our Crowther Multi-hulls vessels consistently show a higher speed and reduced fuel consumption – a significant factor in operational costs.
